It's that time of year again...although it was March when I made the last lot of Marmalade, so quite a bit later and I think the oranges were not at their absolute best. We had success last year with Hugh Fearnley-Whatshisface recipe. Used the whole fruit method as I found it much easier to slice the peel thinly that way.
Made two batches, in one of which I replaced 250g of sugar with 250g of crystallised ginger. It was popular! Also used brown sugar in the ginger batch and it was delicious.
It will definitely see us through the year. Just over 3kg of Seville oranges from my local greengrocer in Corbridge for £4.50. Bargain!
