Just finished reading Every Second Counts by @lancearmstrong. Inspiring great read.
A milestone.
Music is my first love and I regularly listen to whole albums rather than individual songs and buy new music, go to gigs etc. I can't say the same about books although I do regularly consult reference material to make sure I get things right. This is the first book I've read from cover to cover in about two years. I know. I must have started reading about three other books before picking this one up and actually reading beyond the first chapter. The book will forever remind me of being with @schmattt when he was in much pain. I visited just after he got home from hospital after having surgery on his broken leg. I picked it up and started to read it while watching him take a much needed nap. Still not back to full mobility he continues to be positive and display an amazing strength of character and determination to get back on his feet. Most inspiring.Comments [0]
